Vision Statement / Purpose
The Music Department, as one body unified in spirit and with a heart of purity, our purpose is to glorify God, to humbly serve Him in a spirit of excellence as ministers of music. To lead others into His divine presence through thanksgiving, praise and worship.
Mission Statement
To inspire, encourage, train, and direct those whom God has called into the music ministry with a spirit of service, excellence, sensitivity, purity, humility and strength.
Volunteer Opportunities and Requirements necessary to getting involved:
Adult Choir
1. Must be born again
2. Must read your Bible and pray everyday
3. Must have attended CFF for a minimum of 3 months
4. Must be at least 16 years old
5. Must complete a successful audition and be accepted into the choir
6. Must have completed the Spiritu al Growth course
7. Attended 6 weeks of music practice
8. Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Thursday evenings in the Sanctuary, 6:30pm – 9:00pm
9. Must commit to singing in at least 2 services per week: 2 Sunday morning 8:00am & 10:00am services, and 1 Wednesday night service
10. Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the choir
11. Must be teachable and submissive to authority
12. Must be committed to worshipping the Lord and have the motivation to glorify God and Him alone.
Adult Band
1. Must be born again
2. Must read your Bible and pray everyday
3. Must have attended CFF for a minimum of 3 months
4. Must be at least 16 years old
5. Must complete a successful audition and be accepted into the band
6. Must have completed the Spiritual Growth course and served faithfully in another area of ministry for 5 weeks
7. Attended 6 weeks of music practice
8. Must attend weekly rehearsals, currently held Thursday evenings in the Sanctuary, 6:30pm – 9:00pm
9. Must commit to playing in 3 services per week: 2 Sunday morning 8:00am & 10:00am services, and 1 Wednesday night service
10. Must be able to commit to at least 1 full year of ministry with the band
11. Must be teachable and submissive to authority
12. Must be committed to worshipping the Lord and have the motivation to glorify God and Him alone.
